Starting with what matters

These months of the pandemic in 2020 and 2021 have made us all pause, spend so much more time at home and truly revisit what matters.

I’ve been reminded that so many of the material things we collect over time can accumulate and add to overwhelm. It is the people in our lives and the strong relationships that endure. Gratitude, grace and resilience support us as we face challenges. During this time, we’ve all been focusing more on essential and meaningful things like family, health, relationships and home.

It is good to remember to keep paying attention to what is essential and meaningful while taking the time to let go of what is not.

I’m starting this blog as a reminder to get back to what truly matters, all while focusing on the joys of living everyday life and the laughter and humor that can come from so many little things.
