A few months ago, I tentatively decided to start a blog.
I was tagged by @ Suzanne-Happily Decluttered to write about simple holiday joys.
I think it is important to focus on being thankful for all the things we are learning about ourselves and our ability to be resilient and patient.
Since it is the end of the year, I want to spend some time on de-cluttering and getting organized. It would be nice to start the new year with some pre-spring cleaning accomplished.
This is the perfect time of the year to consider sustainable gift giving if you’re in the mode of buying or wrapping presents. Along with other mind boggling statistics, a CDC blog post you can read here states :
Why wait till spring and the beginning of a new year to start to refresh and re-energize?
It was one of those moments when you get jolted back into the importance of focusing on the big things –
I do think that there is more time and space for originality when you remove all the distractions and slow down a little.
With so many of us spending more time at home in general and with the shift of so many parameters in the world due to the pandemic, the ability to set and maintain healthy boundaries is even more necessary.
I think so much good either enters our lives because we have made the space for it or because we’re finally focusing on our priorities.
