Today’s motivational nudge: Pause and refocus

Can you believe it is March, 2022 already? With so much that’s stressful to deal with in the world, sometimes it is harder to think about what you need to focus on. If you feel time is flying by, take a moment to pause and refocus on what you want this month to look like.

If you had a list of well-intentioned goals at the beginning of the year, pull out that list and revisit everything you wanted to prioritize.

Take a little time to journal about these questions:

🌻 What are your top priorities for this month? What is most important to you at the moment?

🌻 How are you going to carve out time to focus on these top priorities this month?

🌻 Is there any way you’d like to contribute to your community or the world as a whole?

🌻 What can you do this month that will bring peace and inspiration into your day to day?

Planning ahead for this month with an intention of looking back and knowing you accomplished what you needed to will help with gaining back the momentum you may feel you’ve lost.

I like the idea of thinking of planning ahead as a pre-decision or making a series of early decisions to make even better decisions throughout the month.

Wishing you an intentional month of March filled with connection, meaning and all the things that bring you fulfillment and purpose!

  1. I can’t. I can’t believe it’s March already. What kind of sorcery is this. Why are the days just flying by? Anyway, I really do need to reevaluate how I’m spending my time. Thanks for this awesome reminder!

  2. I really enjoy your gentle posts, if I haven’t already said so! May I ask your first name? I am a huge planner. I have weekly tasks set on the calendar of my phone. I plan things like exercise and out of the ordinary tasks a week ahead (so they don’t fall through the cracks!). And I’ve recently created a vision board which I’m using as computer & mobile phone wallpaper. (An idea that I got from another blog last year. Wish I could remember which one!). Thank you for sharing your gifts! 🌞

    1. Thank you for stopping by! Planning helps me with sorting things out as well. I love the idea of a vision board! I’m just @apeacefultree on this blog..I’ve decided to keep my blog purely about writing from a place of positivity and not share personal details at the moment. I appreciate your asking.
