We live in a culture of self-improvement and pushing ourselves beyond our comfort zones. In the process of wondering how we can improve various aspects of our lives and our selves, I think it is important to be grounded and accepting of where we are.
Today’s motivational nudge is: Pause and ask yourself how you feel about each decision – then, meet yourself where you are.
If you think you should be doing something a certain way and when you check in with yourself, the answer is a resounding “no”, listen to that “no”. Maybe now isn’t the right time, or maybe you need to start with something that is smaller in scope and within your current comfort zone.

While stretching yourself beyond what you expected of yourself can be exhilarating and empowering, there are also times when it is important to give yourself the space and time to get acclimated to something new or challenging.

I love these daily nudges. “Meet yourself where you are.” – This is beautiful. Thank you for sharing ๐

That’s important advice for me right now. I’m trying to improve in so many ways. I need to accept who I am today and that all the change doesn’t need to happen at once.
