Today’s motivational nudge: Shoot for the stars

William Shatner of Star Trek fame will be heading to space on Jeff Bezos’ next Blue Origin flight on October 12, 2021, at the very young age of 90.

When I read this particular news article, I felt inspired. So many people are daring to do more despite their own challenges. Not saying we should all go to space (if we don’t want to!) but I think embracing little spark of inspiration that says “why don’t I try that one thing I’ve always wanted to do” is a good thing.

On that note, today’s motivational nudge is to shoot for the stars.

>> Aim high.

>> Try for things you’ve always dreamed of but have set aside thinking that could never happen.

>> If you feel too old or too young to try for something you’ve aspired to, tell yourself that you can aim for the stars as welland then, go take the first step to get there.

  1. Interesting post. My friend and I are on a similar challenge to aim a bit higher / push ourselves a little bit out of our comfort zones. We started with climbing up and over the O2 in London which we were a bit apprehensive about but really enjoyed it. Next activity is a painting evening.. neither of us have painted anything since school, should be interesting…!

      1. We have no idea what to do yet after painting.. let me know if you have any good ideas…? It does help to have a pact with a friend to motivate you to complete the task, and we sign up to things very quickly before we can change our mind!!
