I find that the most uncomfortable thing to do is the thing that many of us avoid doing the most – even if it is one of the most important things we could do.

One example of this is when we’re in the middle of a little or big conflict with someone in our lives.
The simplest thing to do in these situations can also be the hardest thing to do. We could pick up the phone and apologize, or communicate clearly about what’s bothering us or even harder – truly take the time to understand and have empathy for a completely opposing point of view.
But so often we don’t, even though we know we really need to – mostly because it feels too uncomfortable.
Today’s motivational nudge is to do what you don’t want to do – do something you know that absolutely needs to get done but that makes you uncomfortable(!).
>> Talk to that person you need to talk to.
>> Address that pile of paperwork you know you need to work on.
>> Make that health care appointment that you’ve been meaning to make forever.
>> Organize that cluttered cabinet that always annoys you but you shut the door to, because, well, it annoys you.
>> Schedule that workout that you’ve been meaning to get to.
>> Start that project you’ve been meaning to start.
Do what you need to do even if it is uncomfortable..

Is there anything on your list of to dos that is a strong “don’t want to do”?
Great!
I read that we can only get better in situations that make us uncomfortable and not our comfort zones. Totally relatable 👌
Good day.
