I find myself sitting down in January to figure out my goals or resolutions for the year with so much anticipation for the year ahead. This momentum lasts for a month or two. Then, life just takes over and time flies.
This week, consider revisiting your goals for the rest of this year. Revisit your highest priority goal to start with. Refresh your action plan so you can get back on track with what you want to accomplish during the rest of the year.
Here are the three sets of journaling prompts to consider for this week’s theme:
- What were my goals and resolutions for the year in January? Is there anything I need to adapt or remove from the list?
- What are the top three priorities that I want to focus on for the remainder of this year? What is one thing I can do this week to make progress on my most important priority of these three?
- Are there any challenges that are slowing me down when it comes to accomplishing any one of these goals? What can I do to address, resolve and work around these challenges?
